So what are the differences between the two types? The main difference is the way of feeding the film.

The up feeding means that the packaging film roll is above the reference level of the popsicle packing machine.(That is to say, the packaging film is above the cross-sealing cutter). It is suitable for regular and non-sticky products, such as: cards, manuals, books, soaps and other products with smooth and regular surfaces.

Down feeding means that the packaging film roll is below the reference level of the ice pop packaging machine(That is to say, the packaging film is under the cross-sealing cutter). It is suitable for irregular and sticky products, such as candy, soft candy, bread and other irregular products.
